UCI Phase IV-B is a 385,370-square-foot student housing complex consisting of four, 5-story, Type III over Type I buildings. The project features 295 apartment-style units, providing 1,072 beds for continuing undergraduate and transfer students. Apartments are studio, one-, two-, and four-bedroom single and double occupancy suites with central kitchens and shared bathrooms. Each building will include a central area with lobby, social lounge, study room, laundry facility, bike storage, and communal courtyards. The project is targeting LEED Gold certification.

Morley Construction Company is providing concrete subcontracting services for the project totaling 5,500 cubic yards. Morley’s scope comprises foundations and slab-on-grade for all four buildings. Concrete is expected to reach completion in Spring 2022.
