The Bluffs at Playa Vista is a new construction and tenant improvement project built in two phases (Parcel A and Parcel B) for a total of six structures.

Parcel A included two office buildings and a free-standing parking structure for a total of 790,000 square feet of new construction. The commercial and retail space consists of 487,874 square feet, Type I cast-in-place concrete with a restaurant and commercial kitchen. A smooth and uniform finish was created on the exterior exposed concrete elements with an industrial-modern interior.

Morley Construction Company provided concrete subcontracting services for the project, totaling 60,000 cubic yards. In addition to the office and parking structural concrete frames, Morley provided architectural services for the parking structure which included a smooth and uniform concrete finish on exposed exterior columns, beams, slab edges, and walls. An 8’ x 12’ mockup was constructed to determine preferred wood materials for a board form concrete pattern, featured on elevator lobby cast-in-place shear walls and entry columns.
