Originally built in 1966, the historic Forum underwent a major renovation by new owner Madison Square Garden Company in 2014. Morley Construction Company provided concrete subcontracting services, collaborating with the General Contractor to complete two new elevator shafts, footings, slab infill, drill and epoxy work, stadium step repairs, curbs, pads, and re-sloping of ramps. A new center floor ring capable of holding 350,000 pounds allows for accommodation of contemporary concert production needs. The renovated Forum is now a single bowl with configurable seating from 17,500 to 8,000 seats and is the largest indoor performance venue in the country. Morley coordinated with many tradesmen (more than 600 craftsmen worked on the project) in order to sequence work to meet the tight schedule.
