Del Rey North and South Residence Halls are two, 4-story residential buildings with 240 units and a freestanding community building over one level of subterranean parking for 172 cars. Communal spaces include a pizza parlor, interior dining areas, classrooms, staff offices, meeting rooms, laundry rooms, and a reception area. The majority of units are single-room dorms with community restrooms/showers and a few Resident Advisor one-bedroom apartments with bathrooms and kitchens. The project obtained a LEED Certification with sustainable features such as low-flow plumbing, energy-efficient equipment and lighting, Green Label carpet, drought-tolerant landscaping, and white “cool” roofs.
