Morley Construction Company provided concrete subcontracting services for the Marine Corps Exchange at the Camp Pendleton military base, a 150,000-square-foot, single-story building offering a mix of over two dozen retail stores and services ranging from a barbershop, florist, and car repair shop to sporting goods, electronics, apparel, food, and military gear along with a Marine Corps Community Service information center. It is one of the largest Marine Corps exchanges in the country. Morley’s scope included cast-in-place foundations, slab-on-grade, and concrete fill on metal deck. The project earned LEED Silver certification.
