Petco Park
San Diego
Home to San Diego's Padres, Petco Park is a 42,000-seat stadium constructed of cast-in-place concrete, precast concrete and structural steel. The ballpark was designed with irregular angles traversing around the bowl for fans to directly view the infield. To combat potential construction conflicts, Morley used state-of-the-art layout software which computed coordinates accurate to within one one-hundredth of an inch. Over 130 skilled concrete tradespeople were required at the height of construction.
